Founded in 1999, Texas Guandi Temple has served as a place for those seeking both spiritual and personal guidance.
At The Texas Guandi Temple, we follow the teachings of the Buddhist philosophy. Our goal is to help people find peace, happiness, and enlightenment in their lives.
On September 6th, 2024, the Texas Guandi Temple suffered a devastating roof collapse caused by Hurricane Beryl.
The damage sustained is substantial and rebuilding will take time. With support from our followers and community, we will rise again.
The interior of the building has been heavily damaged and has left debris on many of the Temple's statues.
Many of you have asked how you can help with rebuilding the temple and we are very grateful for your support. Please feel free to reach out and we will update you on anything that you can do to help in this process.
You can also visit our fund raising site by scanning the QR code or at the spot fund website.
If you prefer, you can send a check made payable to the Texas Guandi Temple to:
2089 Milby St
Houston, TX 77003
Thank you again for your support.
Due to roof damage caused by hurricane Beryl, the temple will be closed to the public until further notice.
